Records, [ca. 1840]-1939.

Records consist of correspondence to and from Institute's director, Elias A. Fairchild, 1865-ca. 1905; student publications; lists of students; catalogs, 1840's-1870's; programs of closing exercises, 1840's-1870's; proceedings of annual dinners; and a booklet providing history of Flushing Institute, 1903. Upon school's closing in 1902, students formed an alumni association. Records consist of scrapbooks of news clippings and proceedings of annual dinners, 1902-1927; minutes, 1903-1928; and an account book, 1903-1937. Photographs of students, staff, and school buildings are included in collection, 1870's-1880's.
